What is Rocket Goats?

Rocket Goats is a project that aims to rank the most successful Rocket League players of all time. The points system is a product of discussions and deliberations amongst fans, ex-pros, and community members. However, knowing that no points system could possibly please everyone, Rocket Goats allows you to create your own one. By heading over to the "algorithm" page, you can create your own points system, and see for yourself who the most successful players are when measured by the accolades that you value.

FAQ

Why don't the points on the cards add up?
Each points total is displayed rounded up to the nearest whole number. If someone has 1.5 online circuit era points and 1.5 online league era points (and no LAN points), it'll show as 2 points for each, but 3 in total. You can hover over numbers to see them in full.

Is there any way to award different points for different regions? I don't think winning an EU regional should be worth the same as an SSA one.
There is currently no way to add regional bias, but this is coming in the next update. For now, all regions are treated equally.

Why isn't ____ tournament a major?
There are many variables considered when deciding if something is a major, such as prize money, quality of teams in attendance, whether or not it is a LAN, whether or not is has a live crowd, and the general 'seriousness' and 'prestige' surrounding the event, all of which combined together results in a very subjective decision. However, if you want to change what is and isn't considered a major in your algorithm, you can click "advanced major settings" where you can select from a number of other tournaments to include them as majors.

Why isn't the duos and trios list updating with my algorithm?
Currently, the duo and trio lists are precalculated and can't be updated by your algorithm. There should be a disclaimer above the table if you load either of those pages with a custom algorithm applied. This is done because the high number of permutations for trios and duos would mean that custom algorithms would take much longer to apply. Sorry about that! Supporting custom duo and trio rankings might come in a future release.
